I had a stay in an old part of town and really enjoyed the comfy bed and the nice treats like complimentary sodas and quality coffee. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the cheese market and other sights. However, it did get quite noisy often until late at night since I was right above the restaurant. Overall, it’s a great spot for those wanting to explore Alkmaar but isn’t ideal if you’re looking for a quiet stay.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located right in the heart of Alkmaar, making it easy to explore the old part of town and visit the cheese market. I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the location was perfect for exploring Alkmaar and the service was excellent with friendly staff, the noise from the street and the restaurant was quite disruptive at night. The rooms were comfortable but could use better soundproofing, and the dining experience was hit or miss with some great dishes but also some minor issues. Overall, it's a place I'd recommend for its location and service, but not if you're looking for complete peace and quiet.
